产品介绍

DAPI 是一种能与 DNA 紧密结合的荧光染料。 它广泛用于荧光显微镜。 由于 DAPI 可穿过完整的细胞膜,因此除固定细胞外,它还可用于活细胞染色。 对于荧光显微镜,DAPI 被紫外光激发。 当与双链 DNA 结合时,其最大吸收波长为 358 nm,最大发射波长为 461 nm。 DAPI 的一个缺点是它的排放相当广泛。 DAPI 也与 RNA 结合,尽管它不像与 DNA 结合那样发出强烈的荧光。 当与 RNA 结合时,它的发射波长会转移到 500 nm 左右。 DAPI 的蓝色发射便于多重分析,因为 DAPI 和绿色荧光分子(如荧光素和绿色荧光蛋白 (GFP))或红色荧光染料(如德克萨斯红)之间的荧光重叠非常少。 除了标记细胞核外,DAPI 还用于检测细胞培养物中的支原体或病毒 DNA。
